Over Ripe
This heat wave is relentless, and no rain in sight. The bananas that we bought a few days ago has all ripened far too quickly and now we are left with over ripe bananas to eat. Will it be banana loaf or will they simply be added to my breakfast yogurt?
Come on summer rains, do I have to do another naked rain dance in my garden? I am sure my neighbours do not approve!

Feeling Overtired
I didn't get time to make lunch so I grabbed some bananas and although they looked bruised like my body, they tasted good as bananas should. Oh well early night for me.

Umbhaba
Umbhaba Organic Bananas looks like a Cavendish verity of banana which is grown in the Hazyview area of Mpumalanga, South Africa. Well so far this year I have reduced my sugar in take from 3 teaspoons to only 1 in my hot drinks. Fizz pop and starches have also been cut and more fruit has been added to my diet.
So here I am with 2 bananas on my desk and a handful of tree nuts, someone would think I am on a diet, no I am trying a lifestyle change, not easy hence the word try.

Unhappy Banana
Warning this post contains nuts. Truly this is the season to be jolly... not.
Well you too would also be unhappy with sitting in an office with the heaters on instead of air con on a hot day. A colleague, not to be mentioned, doesn't like the air con yet does not want to move from the air con and make all our lives a sauna.
So here I am sweating, trying to do my work, and not succeeding very well. I have asked to turn off the heat and put the air con on but said colleague doesn’t want to budge and if I push the subject, I am annoying said colleague and get reported in the gossip circles.
I need a dip in the pool asap.

Bananas in Pyjamas
Okay Bananas in Pyjamas, who has now got that song trapped in their minds, bananas in pyjamas. While you sing along to bananas in pyjamas, I will eat my banana, while I work to the sounds of Banana Brain by Die Antwoord. It is the weekend but it is going to a long working weekend at Decorex for me.

Snacking on Bananas
Yes I know that snacking is not good for my horizontally challenged body but I get this craving to snack, hence the banana for a snack. Next week our company is starting a 21 Day Fast and I need all the help to carbo-load before the event.
I am worried that I would fall into the biggest mistake of a fast and focus on the food or lack of it and miss out on the powerful spiritual benefits of the fast. So what type of fast to do is the question which I am struggling with as I enjoy my food and it is my comfort zone? Oh well time to come out of my comfort zone.
