Pauline

Winter in Johannesburg doesn't know what to do with itself. I mean snow on Tuesday, beautiful sunny day on Thursday and now back to what August weather supposed to be, windy like anything. At least we know spring is coming. Anyway I was on duty at BBC this morning and the nip in wind kept many in snug bed. Pauline was on duty with me so not so bad after all. Now I wonder what happened to her twin sister Saskia now that she married Grant. I understand Saskia, it is warmer in bed.

Blame Monopoly

I am very sorry for my late post of yesterday's scooter ride but Monopoly and the greasy scumlord Craig are to blame. Yes, that is correct. Craig invited me and a couple of friends over yesterday evening to a game of Monopoly and about 02:30 this morning I had to drag myself away as I had a 8:30 start a few hours later.

Nearly oversleeping but I somehow made it through the day. At BBC I had a good catch up with Sasika and Grant who are due to be married in about 6 weeks time. Sasika is following her twin sister Pauline and becoming a Butler. I am not sure if I have any wise advice anymore. At BBC I got invited to a lunch party at my good friend Jackie's place. I must have looked a wreck though but managed to drag myself away for a 4pm meeting with the animal behaviorist then a quick nap and only after all that managed to post about yesterday.

Oh boy, I am getting slow in my old age, well at least I have Monopoly to blame, what is your excuse?

Who’s your Daddy?

This was a status of a good friend of mine on Facebook today, who's your Daddy? I liked it so much that I had to use it in my title. Today is father's day, something I don't really enjoy because I didn't have a great time being a son. Anyway Matthew makes it all up for me as I try to be a good dad to him. I was spoiled by both Carol and Matthew on this Father's Day, thank you. It was also good to see friends this morning at BBC. I had a good chat with my American friend Clay about the soccer and I dig it that he loves rugby more. Anyway what is with all this acting by the European and South American soccer teams? Why should a person be penalized because of how good the opposite number can act? There should be some sort of TMO (Television Match Official)were this despicable diving is stamped out. If the person is injured like he is acting then he should be sent off the field to recover for 10mins, that should put a stop to diving. I now think soccer is for the boys and rugby for the men. Too much soccer is not good for me. Back to BBC. Here are two of my friends Angie and Pauline with baby Carlie at BBC this morning.

Three peas in a pod

This morning I was feeling much better but by afternoon my nose started running and I was sneezing quite a bit. Oh boy I better start phase two of my "Get Better Plan". Taking about how a plan comes together, here is Pauline, Saskia and Karen. I don't think I have the twins together on my blog. Pauline and Saskia are twins although they look and act totally differently.

Mountain Pear

Here are two friends, Gary and Pauline, at BBC. I hope Angie is alright as she wasn't with Gary this morning. Mind you nor was Saskia, uhmm. Matthew was very tired today and slept in the afternoon.

Friends

It is wonderful to spend time with friends and what occasion we had today at Saskia and Pauline's birthday bash. What would I do without good friends and today was just great time to jump into 2010 as Bernice, Myia, Saskia and Matthew showed us while Carol and Pauline look on in anticipation.

Gaggle of Ladies

Matthew was looking forward to go with Sophia to BBC and could not wait to show her off to his friends especially his new hornet helmet. Here is Sophia sharing a joke with Pauline holding Braelyn, Saskia and Angie.

My One Eleven

I am sorry to say this Sunday started off well but ended as a terrible day. I am so stressed. I pray that this will be the worst day of this year and it can only get better. I will leave you with this photograph that I took this morning before my towers came crashing down around me. Back to BBC from left to right is Pauline, Saskia, Debbie and Leon.
