Chasing skirts

Maxy and I met Kevin and his Italian Greyhound, Nero at the Kingfisher Park near Fourways High. It was good to have the two to IGs socialise but all Maxy was interested in was the skirts. Well he was all over the place sniffing out the female dogs at the park. Ah to be young again. Nero was never far from our sides and just loved to run after a tennis ball and bring it back. He even tracks the ball in the air and jumps to catch it mid-air as it is coming down. It is very impressive. Now just to get Maxy to chase a ball, never mind to bring it back. That will come later I suppose.

Seeing Double

Went to see an old friend who also has an Italian Greyhound (Iggy) and was surprised to see how similar they looked. Nero is 5 years old and Maxy is only 7 months old. Maxy behaved like the puppy he is and was all tails. He was bouncing everywhere and would not keep still. One of the few times he remained still was when he lifted his leg and marked his territory to Nero’s dismay. So that is the photo you get tonight.
