Mai Ling and Uwe Jens
Today was supposed to be a quiet day. Carol and Matthew out hiking and me with me feet up. Soon after midday, the phone rang and it was Mai Ling and Uwe Jens, they wanted to know where we were as they have been waiting for us at the Indaba Hotel. Oh my goodness, I'd forgotten our lunch appointment made over a month ago. They are returning to Germany a few weeks time. So after apologizing for Carol and Matthew, I sped over to join them for a lovely afternoon lunch.

Mai Ling
Yesterday while exploring the Ansteys Building, Mai Ling phoned. She and Uwe Jens arrived back into the county on Thursday. It was good seeing them again. Carol and Mai Ling will have some catching up to do before they leave in two months time.

Mai Ling and Francis
The marketing department of Metrorail gave me a coffee maker as a gift for all the hard work I put into their projects. When I arrived home with this large box, I was surprised to find Mai Ling and her son Francis visiting. Francis is leaving next week to go back to China for good. We will miss him and the great food that he cooks. Matthew wants to go to Shanghai and visit him next year.
