Day 25 - French Quarter

 

Lockdown Day 25 - I had to go into the bank again this morning. Nice to see social distancing and nearly everyone wearing face masks. In the bank they had perspex screens between me and the bank lady. I had to go in to see what the process is with my applications. Two hours later at least we had some progress.

In the queue waiting was this French fan, most likely from one of the Francophone countries of West Africa. Interesting, when I first starting making masks I wondered about going into a bank wearing a mask, now it seems like the norm.

Disabilities

Standing in the queue at my local bank, I noticed this sign asking you to allow customers with disabilities or mobility impairments to jump the queue every so nicely. Why not, as we are South Africans.

Hey you, standing in the aisles with itchy feet and fading smiles, can you feel me? Hey you, out there in the cold.
