Clarkson, Hammond, and May

Not really my scene but Matthew loved Top Gear, a car show that aired on BBC before Jeremy Clarkson was fired and ended the show. Forget about rude Jeremy, or even slow James May, Matthew’s favourite presenter is Richard Hammond so when Craig contacted me with free tickets to the Clarkson, Hammond, and May Live in Johannesburg, how could I say no. Plus Ken Block made a guest appearance.

I kept where we were going a secret from Matthew until he saw us arriving at the parking lot outside the Dome at Northgate and the penny dropped. Ohh he was so uber excited.

The Uzbeks

This afternoon my baby Sophia arrived all dressed in black with a touch of tan. Sophia is a beautiful Italian Vespa ET8 150. The ET8 is the same as the ET4 but was marketed to the Chinese and with 4 being a very bad number they rebadged it 8 which is more lucky. Well it was the Chinese New Year the other day and this means it will be a good year with my Sophia. We spent the evening with Jeremy, Madeline and their three children. They have been in Uzbekistan for the last 15 years. They treated us to a cultural experience and told us what it was like to live there. Here is Jeremy and Madeline with their two daughters looking very tired. Their son was off with Matthew playing.
