Tiger Wiger
This afternoon was a write-off with rolling blackouts scheduled from 12pm to 4:30pm. Thank goodness tomorrow is a public holiday, Human Rights Day to be exact. So here I sit at home, feet up with Tiger Wiger up close wanting his human contact while nothing gets done at work due to the loadshedding.
I kind of going to enjoy this mid week break.

No Way Jose
Back to normal after the long weekend. First things first, 2 cats Tiger and Bebe had dentist bookings first thing this morning and what a hell run it was. With meow meow there and everywhere a meow meow it drove me up the wall sitting in rush hour traffic on the way to the vet. Two hungry scared caged cats in a car don’t make for a peaceful trip, no way Jose.

Day After
With a full house the cats made themselves scarce and since Monday was too a public holiday it was recovery time. Yay!
The day after the all nighter party we crashed and so did the cats, only too happy to find peace and quiet in the home once again. Ahhhhh back to normal.

Lazy Afternoon
After yesterday’s long post, just for my friend Gary who only likes long posts and not my short ones, hey Gary how about a short one again? No! Well if you share yesterday’s post about the raw sewerage flowing into the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Gardens, then I promise after today’s post on our cat Tiger, having a lazy afternoon in the winter’s sun, I will do longer posts, I promise. Look no fingers crossed behind my back. See even Tiger agrees as he is tired of all this camera in your face when you are trying to have a cat nap.

Tiger under Blanket
Sometime overnight a cold front came over, lowering the temperature slightly with clouds leading the way. I left as soon as I could with Tiger, one of our cats deeply buried under the blankets. My 10 o’ clock was pushed out till 12 and my 16:30 was postponed so my day changed but the cloud cover stayed.
When I finally got home early afternoon, Tiger was still buried under the blankets. I had to make sure he was still breathing.

Tiger in Bush
It has been a busy long weekend and today the last day, it is relax at home, clean up and prepare for the coming work week.
And as Matthew informed me that I like to use the words "doing the rounds in my garden" on my blog, I found myself doing just that as we have a lovely garden with spectacular vistas so why not do my rounds. When I reached the bird feeders, I saw Tiger our cat, hiding below, watching the "Cat Feeders" as I like to call the bird feeders, with such interest. Just one move Tiger and the birds are gone.

Sleepy Tiger
They say if you grab a tiger by its tail, never let go but this cat called Tiger for some unknown reason as he does not look like a tiger, and was just a sleep puddy tat today. The sun was struggling to warn the autumn day past 20 degrees Celsius today and Tiger found the perfect spot on the couch to get the most out of the sun.
We never spent a winter here in our home, with winter coming; I hope the designer features of our awesome home will keep it nice and warm just as it kept us lovely cool during the hot summer months. South Africa homes are notorious for being sweltering in summer and freezing in winter but this aren’t a normal South African designed home, so says Tiger and I.
