Does Size Matter?
Uncle Norm is back from about 2 week's recovery from diabetes. It is good to have him back to his old tricks again. Here is Ash demonstrating that she is still the boss even with the huge size disadvantage.

Now Norman this won’t hurt a bit
What a busy Monday, no wonder many hate Mondays. At least we have fun while we are busy as Refiloe tries to do some sort of medical examination on Norman.

Monday Stubble
Norman our ICT boss at Metrorail has been working hard over the world cup period during which time he vowed not to shave will the tournament was on. I fully expected him to be clean shaven this morning but he arrived this morning stubble and all.

Initiation
Still no papers signed and the brokers for FNB phoned today about a post that has come up. In the meanwhile it was initiation time for Norman to be finally accepted in the elite group of Metrorail ICT. Refiloe and Ellen were keen to perform the initiation process.

Who’s Bigger?
Here is Annah and Norman comparing tummy sizes. Well Norman is and I am sure that he is sucking it in. At least Annah is going to lose the weight much quicker than Norman.

Over here José
Today started off quietly but ended in a rush when the Confederation's Cup work had to be submitted with the changes for approval today. When? TODAY! So it became hectic towards the end of the day with even Sibusiso phoning me at home at 8pm asking what time will I be in tomorrow. Oh boy it looks like it is going to continue. Well weekend is nearly here. It seems that Norman is becoming a popular subject for my photos, well it's the things that he does in the office that makes me want to keep my camera handy. Here he is with Ayanda trying to get José's attention.

One of those moments
After all the seriousness of yesterday, we at ICT Department can still find time to laugh at ourselves because we can. If we can’t laugh at ourselves then who can we laugh at? Here is literary the head our department, Norman, leading the way. We not worthy, oh mighty one, for we shall never cease to be amused.

Team Friday
As weekend fever is building up we had an impromptu team building session of baseball or was that cricket and trolley races in the ICT department at Metrorail. Here is Norman with a Braun trolley leading Willie with a Ferrari trolley around the obstacle course that was laid out.

Long Weekend
Yes it is the Easter weekend ahead with Friday and Monday being holidays. This of course gives Metrorail’s managers something to be happy about. Here is Norman celebrating with Kevin in his usual fashion. On the way home my way was blocked by protesters. What they were toy-toying for beyond me. It is election month after all. Another thing one group wants to lengthen the skirts of the women toilet signage. At first I thought that this was an April fool’s joke that had gone horribly wrong but it is election month after all and in about two weeks time we all vote for longer skirts. Not!

The coming out of ICT
Norm, I’ve a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore. What is happening at Metrorail’s Information and Communication Technology Department? Norman is seen carrying a pink handbag and we have been informed that we not ICT anymore but BIM or Business Information Management. At least Norman is not wearing ruby shoes or else we would be called BUM for Business under Management.

The glue that sticks
Here at Metrorail ICT Department we tend to lighten up the mood often when the stress of work gets to us. Quite a few of us have contracts which are coming to an end and we are getting no commitment from management of what their plans are. I am not even sure that they know. The equator has been crossed and here is King Norman or was that Neptune ruling over his subjects.

Do or do not… there is no try
Work is starting to come faster than it can go out. It looks like I am going to be working all weekend. Always in motion is the future. One of the things that I need done by end of tomorrow is a Match the Photograph game for Metrorail’s Broad Management Meeting that is going to be held on Friday. Norman, our acting ICT Manager, who does not like his photo taken, now had to stand still and get snapped by order from Sisa the Regional CEO.

Deadlines Galore
The deadlines are starting to pile up. I have one tomorrow, another on Monday and one in two weeks time. My last one was set by this man Norman. He is the acting ICT Manager for Metrorail Gauteng. Well I better get cracking.
