Missing 6 Hours

 

The case of the missing 6 hours! I loaned my pickup out on Sunday, and then today while on my way to work, the engine started missing. Initially I thought it was dirt in the petrol as it felt very similar to when it was dirt in the fuel. Arriving at work, all electrical power disappeared. I opened the bonnet, and found this. The battery was off its cradle and hanging by only the negative cable. Even the clamps were loose. Strange.

After reconnecting all the terminals, and it was then that I noticed that the clock had lost 6 hours which means the battery had been disconnected for 6 hours. Curiouser and curiouser!
