Ice Baby Ice

Yip, I can’t go round saying winter is coming now that winter is in full swing. During Johannesburg winters the days are beautiful with clear blue skies with a warm sun but because there is no cloud cover the nights plummet back into the icy throws of an endless night at Winterfell.

Arriving at work this morning, I found that the sun hadn’t thawed the birdbath’s water and still had a rather thick slab of ice over an inch thick.
