Not Cricket

Being a public holiday was just the excuse for another photowalk. This time the Joburg Photowalkers met at the Troyeville Hotel for lunch and walked off the good Portuguese cuisine. The walk started at the Johannesburg Cricket Club situated in Bertrams, a very poor suburb of Johannesburg. From here we walked to and about the Ellis Park Stadium. Today's photo is from the trophy room of the JCC. It is inspiring to note that a large number poor children from the neighbourhood play cricket here often.
