Let the Summer Begin


With the days warming up for the coming spring season, and it being a public holiday today, it was a perfect reason to "nou gaan ons braai"!

I chopped up some vegetables for roasting as they are a perfect companion to rib eye steak, and mini beef sausages. Okay, okay, no braai can be called a braai without some boerewors, but this is all we had left in our freezer after a long African winter. Oh dear, nou lieg ek. Anyways this is our first braai of the season, let the summer begin.
