Please Don’t Kill My Vibe

WARNING EXPLICT CONTENT NSFW!!! Eish I woke this morning to find the kids still partying, please don’t kill my vibe. I don’t think I got much sleep as I put the fan on to make some white noise to drown out the doff doff doff.

Oh well thankfully most of the kids left this morning but the party continued as you can see with the following video of twerking for the setting sun. Eish some things are just not meant to be seen as once you see this video below, you simply can’t unsee. WARNING EXPLICT CONTENT NSFW

Chris not Craig

The weather did not help me to get out of bed this morning. With the hard downpours, I just wanted to roll over and go back to sleep but it was the thought that I on duty at BBC this morning which dragged me out of bed reluctantly.

At BBC I was taken aback when I saw someone who reminded me of a long gone friend when he walked past, I had to look twice to make sure I wasn’t not seeing Craig. Anyway this person turned out to be Chris and here he is working on the Arrow Team at BBC alongside my good friend Mark, the one with his hands in the air.

Primitive Thanksgiving

There is something primitive about sitting around a fire in each one of us. I can only imagine this deep down warm fuzzy feeling stems from a time when our ancestors sat around a fire pit in a cave under an enormous starry sky for safety and warmth.

So on this cool summer’s evening, a group of friends gathered around a brazier for warmth and to give thanks to the Lord our God for a hard year that was full of ups and downs, but a year that God was in control.

This year has surely flown past, as we once again find ourselves at our year end dinner. For me this year was a hard one and I give thanks that deep down I can lean on the knowledge that God is in control even when my life seems out of control and heading for that crash test wall with dummy me strapped inside. My second thanks is for my son Matthew. It is his birthday today and I thank God that he has turned out to be a wonderful young man.

After our primitive yet very important giving thanks around the fire, we sat down at a well decorated table for our year end meal. Breaking bread with friends and family is a highlight in the year for me, knowing that I belong.

Sexy Hair Trends

Hair trends change with fashion, whether you have a bob, a lob, slicked back, long wavy, or simply like me shaved all off. Dare I say my style of cleanly shaven has never changed and will always remain sexy.

Take Chris, the BBC’s youth pastor shown above, his hairstyle has changed recently from dreadlocks to the half shaven look of not quite Mohawk. Okay not as sexy as me but let’s say half sexy, shall we.

Minecraft

It is Matthew's last day with me and it is his birthday tomorrow. Oh well I had to make the most of today. The day started with BBC and here is Matthew with BBC's Youth Pastor, Chris, playing Minecraft while Matthew was waiting for me to finish my duties. Afterwards Matthew and I headed for Cresta to buy his birthday presents of computer games and the card game Incan Gold, and have a light lunch before heading back home.

Kissing at Church

A loving moment, not matter where you are, even over the hot chocolate booth at church is perfect. Here is Chris, our Youth Pastor, and his wife Tami sharing a moment at BBC this morning while I was manning the lower door. It may have been nice and hot in church but outside an icy cold front started to blow over. Okay I know the cold front is making it very cold outside but I rather think that the world would prefer to be kissing in the back row of the movies than kissing in church. Yes people church is hot.

Abby and Chris

Carol seems to have caught the same bug and is coughing away in bed. Telkom has SMS us asking us when can they come and fix our telephone/DSL line. Abby and Chris are new friends so they couldn't escape the wrath of my camera.
