Keep the Doctor Away

They say that an apple a day keeps the doctor away, but I like to give the lowly apple a helping hand with Corenza C and Lynda in her wisdom after consultation with Doctor Google and the local pharmacist added the Airborne assault. As we can't have a grumpy sick old man at home. Only one man flu occurrence is allowed per year and I have already had my symphony allocation.

Lunch Time Snacks

They say that an apple a day keeps the doctor away, so what does 2 apples do? Anyone?

Anyways busy at work pumping out websites at a steady rate that I don't have much time for a lunch, so I eat at my desk, as well as snack without much moving around. I know not good for my health but surely these apples help?

Graham's Apple

I must have yawned throughout the day, not tired just that it wasn't quite a restful weekend and I overslept this morning. After hearing the 5am and 5:30am alarms, I must have fallen back to sleep as I was woken up at 6:30 with a cup of coffee and the question, "don't you leave for work at 6:45am?" Oh boy!

Anyways I got through the day alright I think expect for a few yawns. Towards the end of the day, Graham asked if it was my apple under my desk. No I didn't bring an apple to work, I looked and sure enough there was this tiniest apple under my desk. I picked it up and handed it to Graham, well it wasn't his either, must be Taleesha's.

But why such a small apple? well Graham speculated that it could be that it was made to fit into lunch boxes. Genius idea, lunch box apples. Just the perfect size to eat as this apple was screaming for me to eat it.

Not made for Africa

Over lunchtime, I had to rush out to drop off some papers at some lawyers in an area I have never been before so I set up the address onto the maps application of my Apple iPad Mini instead of my normal Galaxy Note 2 and halfway there the iPad stopped working and a warning came up “Temperature – iPad needs to cool down before you can use it”. What!

Yes I know it is Africa but it is in the middle of winter, for Santa’s sake. It is barely double figures on the thermometer and the iPad can perform. Uhmmm not cool, if you can’t take the heat iPad, stay out of Africa. In the end I had to take out my trusty Galaxy phone, take a photo of the striking Apple and then re-input the address onto Google Maps and continue without the iPad.

Apple Core

I am very grateful that I have food to eat while at work in these times where majority of the world population struggle to live on less than a $2.50 a day. I am trying, okay, to cut expenses, such as keeping visits to the Diner to a minimum by bringing my own lunch to work. The food in the diner is good and at a reasonable price but it adds up both on the waist and wallet. So in my scoff tin, I pack for lunch things like apples, bananas, avocado filled sandwiches, and when available left-overs from the night before.

So now I am left with only a banana skin and an apple core.
