Today started off with Matthew and I making large breakfast for Carol and giving her a large Thank You mug brimming with Swiss chocolates. Then we were off to the Mother’s Day Concert at the Zoo. We found a great spot close to the pavillion under the oak trees with their leaves turning brown and the air had a slight nip. This is the 18th mother’s day concert held at the Johannesburg Zoo and this time it must have been record numbers as it was packed. As usual Richard Cock entertained us with the Johannesburg Festival Orchestra while soloist Sam Peo and Craig Urbani sang. Carol enjoyed her day listening to soothing music under the majestic oak trees.
